古泉 Koizumi: So we need to find people then.
If we’re after band members, we definitely need Nagato, then again... The current Nagato would be useless.

ハルヒ Haruhi: Ah, what about that girl? The loli girl from the Yakisoba Café. She was totally disappointed that the Calligraphy Club event got cancelled.
キョン Kyon: Asahina-san, huh. She’d be a real beauty on the stage, but I don’t think she has any musical talent.

ハルヒ Haruhi: It’ll be fine, we’re gonna practice like crazy. Yeah, she’ll be perfect! After all, moe is an absolutely essential factor. With bands, batons and beauties there’s no way we can go wrong.

古泉 Koizumi: Understood. I’ll take care of procuring the instruments then.
キョン Kyon: You will?

古泉 Koizumi: Yeah, I’ve got an idea. You don’t mind, right? Suzumiya-san.

ハルヒ Haruhi: Of course. I’ll leave the instruments to you, Koizumi-kun.

古泉 Koizumi: I’m honoured. I’m not sure how it’ll pan out, but I’ll do my best.
Ugh, I’ve got a nagging feeling about this, dammit Koizumi.
ハルヒ Haruhi: I’ll talk with the Baton Club. Oh yeah, we’ll need to secure a place to practice too.

ハルヒ Haruhi: So here’s the plan. Koizumi-kun gets the instruments. I’ll prepare a bunch of stuff. And Kyon, you do whatever it takes to get that loli girl!
キョン Kyon: You’re sending me alone?!

ハルヒ Haruhi: There’s not much time, so we need to divide the labour.

古泉 Koizumi: You can’t handle it on your own?
