Suzumiya Haruhi no Tsuisou - 298: Divine Luck
Back from my vacation, had a good time. Went to see Attack on Titan 2: End of the World after getting back home. It took some radical departures from the source material, but was overall fun.
I unconsciously wandered towards the main building, to the point where I was standing outside the classroom where the Literature Club's exhibition space was. Nagato is probably in there.
But... I hesitate about entering. I mean, I could probably ask Nagato to help with Asahina-san's Miss North High campaign, but I don't think she's the right person for such a task.
Besides, Nagato already has her hands full handling her stall. There's no way I could interfere with that.
??? Somebody: Oh, hey Kyon.
古泉 Koizumi: We meet again.
キョン Kyon: ...! Of course, you two are here!
ハルヒ Haruhi: Eh? What's up?
This must be what they call divine luck.
キョン Kyon: So Haruhi, that girl from earlier, Mikuru Asahina-san. You were interested in her, right?
ハルヒ Haruhi: ... Did I say that? Not Koizumi-kun?
キョン Kyon: Ah, I didn't mean it that way. The truth is, Asahina-san is an entrant in the Miss North High Contest. Prior the the voting tomorrow, we're able to promote our candidates using fliers and such. Which is why I'd like to ask you...
ハルヒ Haruhi: To help out with your publicity!?
キョン Kyon: Right... You catch on fast.
ハルヒ Haruhi: I had a feeling something like this would happen. That encounter with Mikuru-chan earlier felt like it was destiny or something!
And she's already on a first name basis and adding “chan”. That's Haruhi for you.
キョン Kyon: So, you'll do it?
ハルヒ Haruhi: Of course I will, there's no way I could turn down something that interesting. Koizumi-kun, you'll help too, right?
古泉 Koizumi: Absolutely. I'm at your service.
ハルヒ Haruhi: Alright, we're in it to win it!
ハルヒ Haruhi: First up, we need some fliers. Kyon, you got any photos of Mikuru-chan? And they need to be super cute as well!
キョン Kyon: I haven't got any, but I bet that Tsuruya-san does.
ハルヒ Haruhi: Who's Tsuruya-san?
キョン Kyon: A friend of Asahina-san. She's involved in this too.
ハルヒ Haruhi: Hmm, she's got a good eye. Anyway, let's go meet this Tsuruya-san!
