Okay, here's the real next update! To be honest, I actually ended up finishing it less than a day after I posted my April Fool's prank, but felt I'd give the prank a little breathing room. (And I was considering a double update as I did half the translation for the next scene, but I haven't finished it yet even now, so... Ehehe... ^^;)

Did you enjoy the prank? The scene was taken from Kokoro Connect: Yochi Random ("Hearts Connect: Random Premonitions"), a video game based on the Kokoro Connect series, a show I'd totally recommend to all of you if you haven't seen it.

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Oooi, boy!
A familiar voice called to me.

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Yo!
Tsuruya-san waved at me.
Despite the fact we should be complete strangers by default, so the fact she’s calling me over seems to indicate some progress. It’s almost enough to bring tears of joy.

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Where you headed? Ah, were ya maybe headin’ to the Biology Club’s Haunted House over there?
キョン Kyon: You’re interested in the Haunted House?

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Yeah! It’s probably way scary, right? When I’ve got some free time, I might head there with ya.
キョン Kyon: Shall we go then?

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Thanks for the invite, but as ya can see, we’re busy settin’ up over here.
... Darn.

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Don’t be lookin’ so down, boy! I feel bad too! It’s the long awaited North High Festival, so I was hopin’ I’d be able to make some unique memories here!

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: No way, not me! I was thinkin’ we could totally enter Mikuru to this though!
Entering Asahina-san, huh? ... Honestly, I think Tsuruya-san would do fine in the contest herself though.
鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: I mightn’t do too bad myself, but Mikuru would be sure to win. That’d be somethin’ worth rememberin’!

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Mikuru’s perfect for this, right? You’d like to see her enter too, wouldn’t ya?
I definitely think Asahina-san would squash the competition, but she’d also squash herself with nerves... Hmmm, how should I reply?

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Really? Thanks! Just what I was hopin’ to hear! Anyway, I’ll go ahead and fill it out!
Tsuruya-san took the entry form and started filling out Asahina-san’s details.
I’m amazed at how well she’s memorised someone else’s details. I’m not even sure of Taniguchi’s birthday.

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Aaaand done. Anyway, hate to run ya round boy, but could ya hand this in to the executive committee? I can’t exactly split from this place right now. I’m beggin’ ya, please!

キョン Kyon: I don’t mind, but should we really submit this without asking Asahina-san first?

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Don’t worry, I’ll talk her into it later! I’m counting on you!

Well, if Tsuruya-san’s that confident, I guess it’s okay.
