Just as before, those two made their approach.
鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Ah, sorry to bother ya. We just noticed that you seem to get along with that cat pretty well, it looked fun so we decided to come take a look.
キョン Kyon: I don’t mind at all.
As expected, I’m a complete stranger to them yet they struck conversation.

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Mikuru’s way jealous, y’know. Ain’t that right, Mikuru?

みくる Mikuru: Eh? Ah, y-yes... Um, is it your own cat?
キョン Kyon: Yeah. Would you like to chat with him?

みくる Mikuru: Eeh?

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Kyahaha, that’s a good one boy! But you shouldn’t make a joke like that or Mikuru here’ll take ya seriously.

みくる Mikuru: Geez, you’re so mean Tsuruya-san.
キョン Kyon: Haha, I’ll watch what I say from now on.

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Hm? Are you a member by any chance? Of the Mikuru Fan Club, that is?
キョン Kyon: Yeah, something like that.

鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: You’re in luck then, do yer best today!

みくる Mikuru: Y-you don’t mean...
鶴屋さん Tsuruya-san: Oh hey, Mikuru, five minutes until gathering time! We better hurry! Which means farewell for now, boy!

みくる Mikuru: Excuse us.

And there they go. If it were possible, I’d have liked to interact with them some more, but there’s limits to what you can do with a complete stranger.

シャミセン Shamisen: Meow~
キョン Kyon: Alright, you did a good job. I better leave you with the janitor again. Behave yourself until we get home.

シャミセン Shamisen: Meow~
キョン Kyon: ... You’re definitely not going to start comprehending and speaking human speech again, right?
